Oakland: Two people shot while sitting in parked vehicle OAKLAND — A man and woman were each shot multiple times early Monday as they sat in a parked vehicle in East Oakland, authorities said.Both victims were later reported to be in stable condition.The shooting happened about 12:11 a.m. Monday in the 5400 block of Foothill Boulevard, in the Fairfax area of the city.Authorities said a 29-year-old Oakland man and a 22-year-old San Leandro woman were sitting in a parked SUV when the man, who was in the driver’s seat, got into a dispute with another man who was standing outside. Police did not confirm what the dispute was about or say if the two men knew each other.Police said the man standing outside pulled a gun and began shooting at the man and woman in the vehicle, hitting them both more than once.The suspect fled in a vehicle.
