Boebert’s antics are unacceptableRe: “Boebert escorted out of musical,” Sept. 13 news storyI read with great dismay about Lauren Boebert’s behavior at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts the other night. I’m not sure how many “ordinary” citizens are escorted out of the theater due to bad behavior. However, when one is elected to represent a portion of a state’s population, you might expect that, that representative would be able to handle herself in public in a manner that did not detract from the event that her fellow attendees paid for, let alone draw attention to her self such that she is asked to leave. How sad is it that a large portion of the State of Colorado is represented by someone who has so little respect for others that she carried on in a public setting where decorum is enforced to assure the attendees benefit from the experience?Unfortunately, this is just another example of her public behavior. Most of the time she is in the news, it is because...Uzbekistan promises its citizens the benefits of economic growth

John Cooper Clarke at the Moroccan: Fans of old school, classic British punk will know the name John Cooper Clarke. The Mancunian punk poet laureate made a name for himself articulating the plight of the working class better than most, and his acerbic wit made him a hit with those enamored with caustic, raw music. Few poets were able to insert themselves into a music scene so seamlessly and comfortably, and Clarke is still a gem today. It’s be fascinating to see what the good doctor pulls out at the Moroccan.John Cooper Clarke at the Moroccan: The event takes place at 6 p.m. on Saturday, September 23 at the Moroccan Lounge.Photo licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 2.0 Generic license.  ...How Democrats in rural Northern California, deep in MAGA country, are growing stronger

But as she and Richards realized there were more Democrats than they thought — 35% of the county voted for Hillary Clinton — they began to strategize.“We were so angry,” said Rogers. “And we were both retired, so we had the time for it.”Rural north state Democrats have lo...FTX sues Sam Bankman-Fried’s parents to claw back funds
