(CNN) — Iowa Republicans voted Saturday to hold their first-in-the-nation caucuses on January 15 next year, setting up the earliest start of the presidential nominating process since 2012, when caucusgoers gathered on January 3. SAN FRANCISCO — In the midst of what could be the best season of his career, 35-year-old right-hander Alex Cobb was told on Saturday that he’d be representing the San Francisco Giants at the MLB All-Star Game.The Giants will also be represented by closer Camilo Doval, an original All-Star selection. (KRON) -- Several kayakers were rescued from the water near Mission Bay on Saturday afternoon, according to the San Francisco Fire Department. Hwy-1 SB lanes closed due to traffic accident Around 1 p.m., five kayakers were rescued by an SFFD boat near near Barry Bonds Jr. Giants Field, a tee ball field just across the water from Oracle Park. Another two victims were pulled from the water by crew members of a local fishing vessel. All victims are under evaluation by the SFFD emergency medical staff and are in good condition. (KDVR) -- A mosquito near the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds has tested positive for West Nile virus during routine testing, according to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. The positive test makes Arapahoe County the fifth Colorado county with a positive test already this summer, joining Delta, Boulder, Larimer and Weld counties. The positive tests are happening earlier than last year, with researchers expecting a banner year for mosquito populations along the Front Range. In Boulder County, the first positive test came on June 29, two weeks earlier than last year's first positive test. Police seek the public’s help in their search for an elderly woman who was reported missing in Fort Lauderdale.According to Fort Lauderdale Police, 75-year-old Carolyn Edwards was last seen along the 1600 block of Northwest Seventh Street.Edwards stands 5 feet tall, weighs around 110 pounds, and may be wearing jeans, a green shirt and a black hat.
