PINE LAWN, Mo. - FOX 2 checked into a neighborhood danger that has gone on for years without being fixed, according to residents: bent and faded street signs that are simply too hard to see in Pine Lawn in north St. Louis County. For instance, if there's an emergency or even a UPS delivery to the 6300 block of Henner and Irving avenues. The GPS may get you there, but you likely want to check the street signs to make sure your phone's ‘map app’ has directed you to the right place. You likely won’t be able to read the faded signs on the bent post at the corner of Henner and Irving avenues. The issues are worse in the glaring sun and at night.“Make a left on Stratford,” Virgil Brown said, giving directions to a FOX 2 crew. 3 killed, several injured in Greyhound bus crash The Stratford Avenue sign is faded.“Come down to Rosewood,” he continued.Multiple signs for Rosewood Street are bent and washed out.“This is Huntsville,” he said, the street where he lives. “Right now, you can’t reall...'It was bad' - Investigation is underway after Greyhound bus hits 3 semis, killing 3 and injuring 14

While sharks likely spring to mind as one of the scariest animals in the ocean, surfers off the coast of Santa Cruz have lately been terrorized by something much cuter – a 5-year-old female sea otter. Video taken on July 9 captured the particularly aggressive female taking issue with one surfer’s position in the lineup off Cowell Beach. The marine mammal is seen biting the board and getting on top of it, prompting the surfer - 40-year-old Apple software engineer Joon Lee, according to the Los Angeles Times - to release his board for a moment and swim away. When Lee reclaims the front of his board and tries to gingerly flip the female otter off, she digs her teeth into the board, gets right back on and forces the software engineer to back off yet again. The otter is then seen shredding, not the waves, but the side of Lee’s board with its teeth. A sea otter was captured on video going toe-to-toe with a surfer and his board in Santa Cruz on July 9, 2023. “...Oakland mayor, armed with 3 suitcases of documents, meets with MLB commissioner
