Police searching for man wanted on drug warrants SALEM, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Multiple police agencies are searching for a man considered to be armed and dangerous in the Salem area. Police are looking for Jeffrey Dickinson. Get the latest news, weather, sports and entertainment delivered right to your inbox! The search began around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday. Police said Dickinson is wanted on a felony warrant, and he fled when confronted by law enforcement. Dickinson was last seen in a wooded area near Blind Buck Road in Salem. Police said a reverse 911 call went out to all area residents. Those in Salem are asked to report all suspicious activity to 911. They should not approach or make contact with Dickinson. The 35-year old was operating skid-steer, logging equipment, according to authorities. (NEWS10) -- The Saratoga County District Attorney has appealed a decision to toss out an indictment against one of the people involved in an officer-involved shooting in Saratoga Springs.A judge dropped the eight charges against Vito Caselnova in September citing the prosecution's presentation to a grand jury was flawed. The judge concluded that the jury did not receive proper instructions on what to consider and did not properly explain the state's self-defense law. The bullet hit his foot and exited near his ankle. He suffered a broken bone and was out of work for five months. The lawsuit blames the gun's design and argues it was not tested properly. Michael Colwell told NEWS10 in 2021 his gun went off while it was holstered during a training exercise.
