My role was to help report out the U.S. side of that fracturing relationship, relying on my sourcing inside the Democratic Party and the White House. I still remember what a privilege it felt like to work with Tibon, whose own sourcing on the Israeli side gave us a window into the strategic thinking of Bibi and his inner circle that one simply never sees here in the U.S. Instead, all we get is a flattened gloss on Netanyahu as a tough guy and a political survivor. I did a double take when I woke up on Saturday, October 7, and learn...NCAA Women’s Basketball Top 25 Schedule

LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) — Quarterback Justin Fields likely will miss his second consecutive game because of a dislocated right thumb when the Chicago Bears visit the Los Angeles Chargers this week, coach Matt Eberflus said Monday.Eberflus said Fields is doubtful and rookie Tyson Bagent would start again in his place. Eberflus said Fields “continues to progress” and is on a path to avoid surgery and injured reserve. But he would not say if the swelling has gone down or if Fields has tried to throw.“I’m just going to go back to what I said,” Eberflus said. “He’s with the trainers, he’s doubtful this week and that’s where it is.”Fields was hurt on Chicago’s first possession in the third quarter of a Week 6 loss to Minnesota. He seemed to land awkwardly on his hand trying to throw the ball away while getting sacked by Danielle Hunter. The Bears punted on the next play, and Fields headed to the locker room.Bagent finished that game and made his first start in a 30-12 win over Las Vegas on...Denver surpasses $500 million in marijuana tax revenue

An extensive crime ring that systematically targeted major retailers, including Publix, Walmart, Target and Walgreens, believed they could operate without leaving a significant impact. However, their actions resulted in over $20 million in retail losses, affecting not just stores but also the consumers.According to authorities, the criminal operation, which spanned throughout South Florida, consisted of approximately 87 individuals who carried out a series of thefts from big-box retailers over nine months. Their approach was simple: enter the stores and take as much merchandise as possible.“These individuals would sometimes obtain master keys and empty whole shelves of over-the-counter prescription medications or simply walk out with high-value items like a $3,000 golf bag,” said George Aguire, an official from the Miami Dade Organized Crime Bureau.Authorities said Arland Cata played a significant role within the criminal operation, handling the stolen products.
